Our collection of honey bees was one of the first animals to arrive at Goose Grapery. One of our long term goals is to eventually build a vineyard to make our own wine; the bees are meant to pollinate our grapes. In the meantime, we harvest their honey.
Our seven beehives are surrounded by the native wildflowers found in South Central Texas that grow between the spring and fall. The surrounding mesquite and huisache trees also help give our honey a light taste.
Our honey is only harvested twice a year, so contact us for availability.
Pollinators are a driving force in agriculture, especially all types of bees. It is important to protects these creatures in order to help our communities thrive. For more information on how you can help protect the bees, visit the link below.
